Appointments & Billing
Wyndhamvale Health Care is a mixed billing practice.
Wyndhamvale Health Care is an appointment based practice. Patients who do not have an appointment but are a walk-in patient will pay an additional fee; please speak with our staff regarding the additional fee.
An appointment is required to consult our podiatrist, physiotherapist, dietitian, psychologist, diabetic educator and for ultrasound appointments.
When attending our clinic, please ensure you have your Medicare card with you and any Health Care Card/Pension Card/DVA Cards.
All persons attending our Clinic, aged 8 years and older who have a cold, fever or flu like symptoms must wear a mask whilst in the Clinic.

Patients who do not hold a current Medicare card will be billed the following:
- Standard consultations (item number 53 or 23) are $75.00
- Long consultations (item 54 or 36) are $121.00
- Prolonged consultations (item 57 or 44) are $158.00
Patients without a current Medicare card are requested to pay at the time of their consultation.
The doctors at Wyndhamvale Health Care may refer a patient to see a specialist, allied professional (dietitian, psychologist, audiologist, speech pathologist, podiatrist, physiotherapist, myotherapist, osteopath, etc.), or for radiography and pathology testing.
Some specialists, allied health professionals, radiography, and pathology services may incur an out-of-pocket expense.
At the time of making an appoinment for the above, you will be notified of any out-of-pocket expenses..
Pre-employment Medicals/VicRoads Medicals/Life Insurance Medicals are not covered by Medicare. A fee for this service is payable. Please speak with your doctor regarding the cost of these services.
Please contact Medicare Australia on 13 20 11 if your Medicare card has expired or is due to expire to arrange a replacement Medicare card.
All allied health professionals require an appointment which may incur fees. Please telephone our clinic on 9742 5148 for further details
AHM, Allianz, BUPA, Medibank and NIB Overseas Student Health Cover members are requested to attend the clinic with their AHM, Allianz, BUPA, Medibnak or NIB OSHC membership card along with their school/university identification card when consulting a general practitioner at Wyndhamvale Health Care.
All consultation fees are to be paid at the time of consultation.
Patients who have AHM, Allianz, BUPA, Medibank or NIB Overseas Visitor Cover are requested to attend the clinic with their OVHC membership card along with photo identification when consulting a general practitioner.
Patients with Overseas Visitor Health Cover will need to pay for their consultation at the time of their attendance.
Consultation fees are as follows:
- Standard consultation: $75.00
- Long consultation: $121.00 and a prolonged consultation $158.00.
A receipt will be issued to you after payment for submission to your Insurer.
